30 Day Writing Project: Days 12 & 13

Hey everybody! Sorry I didn’t get to sit down and write yesterday. I worked from 10am to 10pm so not much time to write. Work was work yesterday. We were decently busy last night which made it go quickly. Working tonight too but it’s a toss up with the game and everything.

I never know who to cheer for in the LSU/Georgia game. I mean I’m from Georgia and lived there for 19 years of my life. However I’ve been here for so long I consider myself a Tiger fan. Let’s look at it this way. An LSU win sends them to the BCS National Championship. A Georgia win puts them in the Top Ten (maybe) and Alabama and Oklahoma State go to the BCS. Yeah, let’s go ahead with the LSU win scenario. Plus nobody wants to see LSU and Alabama play again. That game was BORING!! Until Overtime.

Ok so today’s topic: What was the last compliment you received?

That would be Wednesday night after stand up at The Station. Well both Wednesday and Thursday actually. I performed at Rhythm and Booze on Thursday. Stand up is relatively new to me. I’ve been performing for about a year or so. I still get very nervous and very critical of myself. So anytime anyone walks up to me after a show and tells me I was funny, or that I did a good job that is amazing! Even better is when another comedian comes up and tells me that. Other comedians are the toughest crowd. We’re comedians! We think we’re the funniest person in the room! So other comedians are a threat. Not really, but some comedians can be very harsh on others.

Ok, well time for a shower and then work. If you want to grab a bite after the game come see me!
